Ridges and Checkers Textured Knit Blanket was Michelle Joy’s 2022 textured release for avid fans of knitting fun baby (knee) blankets!
Bringing in the playful Pally-lally grams and structured Checkers, it follows the same design concept as the original Textured Knit Blanket; with 4 panels of texture to keep you on a knitting adventure! Choose 4 different colours, alternating colours like the featured piece OR even knit all in one colour – you decide.

Notes:
This blanket is knit one ball at a time, with the borders made as you go. The design uses fun texture patterns that combine knit and purl stitches (the patterns are not especially technical) and is a great design for a knitter who enjoys creative textures. As a knit it is very pleasing to work the colours and a variety of designs as it keeps the journey interesting with each change. No sewing required (just your ends).
This pattern is suitable for advancing beginners / intermediate knitters that enjoy creative textures using knit and purl; those comfortable following a pattern, cast on and off
