Needles: 5.5mm, can be knit on straights or circulars with  80cm to 100cm cable

Skills: Knit, purl, cast on, cast off, following a pattern of knit and purl stitches, changing colour

Pattern by: Michelle Joy (Stewart), written in a less traditional style to be less technical and give the crafter room to adjust the fit and style

Notes:

This lovely mid size blanket is worked ‘all in one go’ with the borders knitted up the side of the piece as part of the pattern – so stitch markers are advised.  It’s a wonderful journey sampling different stitches!

This pattern is suitable for beginners adding more skills, those comfortable with knit, purl, cast on and off, and happy counting stitches and following a pattern.
