Notes:
The Fran knitted jacket is a simple flowing, uncomplicated design (no sewing) all in one piece knit
A straight forward minimal sewing, minimal shaping knit – flowing and drapey, but with a touch of elegance and unique design at the neckline. It has a nice casual ease, gentle flow and is wonderfully suitable for a busy mother of gorgeous toddler (so it was named after our Model Frances, and lets face it – she rocked it!)
This knit, while simple in design, will need developing set of skills for knit and purl, 3 needle bind off for the shoulders, picking up stitches, simple shaping like knitting and purling together, and making stitches too.
Small to Medium size measurements:
Back = 600mm
Fronts ea = 250mm (designed to be worn open for the long line effect)
Shoulder to bottom = 800mm

I purchased this kit a few weeks ago and am working on it now. Michelle was lovely to deal with…friendly, and helpful when asking about dye batches. The yarn is knitting beautifully…very soft and drapes nicely even before blocking. I’ll be back for more Sumptuous in a different colour to make one for my daughter soon 🙂
